Ian Jacob’s Fellowship
Congratulations to Aus-ROC’s Dr Janet Bray who has been awarded the inaugural Ian Jacobs Fellowship award by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC). Professor Ian Jacobs served the ARC for 25 years and excelled in national and international resuscitation research, knowledge dissemination and collaboration and the award was established as a lasting tribute to his memory. Dr Bray will use the funding to continue with her project ‘Post-resuscitation care in Victoria: understanding current practice to improve outcomes for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients’.

Aus-ROC PhD Scholarships open -Monash and Curtin Universities
These PhD scholarships are available through the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence grant: Optimising the Emergency Response to Save Lives – An Aus-ROC Centre of Research Excellence (Aus-ROC CRE).
These scholarships provide a full-time PhD stipend to support research to improve survival outcomes for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA). The PhD topic is negotiable but must align with the Aus-ROC CRE research program.
