Cochrane review of adrenaline
Aus-ROC Director Professor Judith Finn has led the Cochrane Review of Adrenaline for cardiac arrest. The review concluded: ..”that standard-dose adrenaline compared to placebo improves return of spontaneous circulation, survival to hospital admission and survival to hospital discharge, but low-quality evidence that it did not affect survival with a favourable neurological outcome”.

Aus-ROC investigators are delighted to have received funding from the NHMRC for an Aus-ROC Centre of Research Excellence (#2035259) aiming to optimise the emergency response to save lives. We aim to investigate a comprehensive solution to improve bystander and EMS response to OHCA. We will investigate innovative health strategies, including cutting-edge technology, to enhance the efficacy and sophistication of the emergency response for OHCA.
